A Daily thought, A silent tear, A constant wish that you were here! xxx
Edward Plant grew his wings on the 24th october 2007 and is terribly missed and loved by everybody.
He was a great Fater, Brother, Uncle, Cousin, husband and grandad.
I remember the day the mum came up stairs to wake me up to go to the farm and do the horses. I said to her 'why do i have to come now where is my dad'?
My mum came back with ' your dad is over at Nana Brenda's house because grandad passed away at 4am this morning.
My life flashed before my eyes i couldn't beleieve that my grandad had left me and dissapered.
I remember when i was younger well i know i am only 12 now but still. When i was younger my mum and dad use to bring me round to see you and Nana.
You were sat in your comfy corner chair i loved that chair just like my grandad did.
Everytime i came i would stand infront of you and just smile and you would say ' go and get the box georgia.'
So i would run into the hall and grab mine and your orange box with all my reading books in it.
I use to sit on the left hand side of you always and you would put your arm around me and read all my favourite books. I would sit there and stare at the book and turn the pages for you.
When ever i asked you if you could read a book to me your answer was always YES! You never said NO grandad that was one thing i loved you for.
I remember what mine and your favourite book is it was called The Red Rooster. I use to laugh my head of on every page you read to me. It was great!
I remember everything we did together.
I still think about that time when we where playing the hot and cold game and we were hiding the backdoor key. You hid it in the watering can in your shed. I use to hide behind the door in the shed and when you walked in i would jump out and scare you.
You always laughed grandad.
The day before you dissapered i remember coming round i sat near your chair.
As soon as i came in you asked me if i wanted a drink i said YES.
You brought in a drink and 2 custard cream biscuits in for me. I stapped one biscuit in half it fell all over me you started laughing . I looked at you and smiled i though to myself how lucky i am to have a grandad as great as you.
I should of held on to that cup because when i stapped that biscuit it was like your life just ended but just about 6 hours later.
That cup is the only thing i has left of you the only thing that me and you touched that day.
Instead i washed it the touch dissapered and 12 hours later you dissapered.
Every night me and my dad play some music and always comes on one last dance with my father and you raise me up they are our best songs. As soon as i hear them you pop in to my head always.
I miss you!
We were so close grandad closer than ever!
I really really really miss you no more stories no more laughes just me without my grandad it was like a bomb just hit me in my face and killed my grandad instead of me.
You do not deserve to have been taken away that day.

Fallon's growing up so old now grandad, shes beautiful everything we could have asked for..
its a shame she cant meet her other grandad but i guess she will when its her time...

I no you don't know me , but I'm Emily's friend.
She always talks about how much she loves you and how much she misses you.
Emily got christened today she looked gorgeous and I know she looked the spit image of Georgia when she was younger.
We all know you were over us guarding us.
When Emily had her picture with her grandparent's we all noticed that you were missing and we all know you were in that picture posing ha ha.
On all the pictures Emily can see you in them because every time she looks at a picture of you she gets tears in her eyes that is how much she misses you.
If she had one wish it would be that you never died and you were still here making her laugh like you always used to do and not just that she wants the whole of you back.......
I no I don't know you and you don't know me I just want to say thing and hopefully we will soon make friends.
Emily said Will you save her a space in there so she will be with you and no body else.......

Emily got christened today, she looked like a little princess - YOUR little princess.
I know u wouild of done anything to be there today, but although u wasnt there in person i know u were there in spirit to hold her in ur arms and say ur prays before u flew back to the other angels..
I cant believe how grown up she is now!
Emily would of loved you to be there today just like everybody else would have!
It didnt feel right, Emily had pictures with all her grandparents and one person was missing of that picture, it would of put the smile back on everyones faces just to see u there on that picture grandad,...
Emily is sat right next to me and she sents all her love upto her special grandad up in heaven!
We all knew u were there today watching us and guarding is all through life.
we knew u were there to help emily out to guard her through her journey of christ.
I first remember when i held emily in my arms when she was born i remember looking at her and saying to her ' ill take care of you princess'
Then she grows up to look and act like me and its just like looking at me when i was younger, she's soo grown up and that 9 year girl means absolutly EVERYTHING to mee, i would die for that girl :)
BUT Then years later our grandad died and everyone fell apart, but knowing that ur now in a better place puts the smile back on all our faces.
It broke all our hearts grandad, if i had one wish it wouldnt be that u would come home it would be that u never left in the first place...
we would of loved to see u in person, but obviously life is unfair :'(

Hey Grandad,
My mum and dad are having another baby girl, have great is that, but it brakes my heart just to know that it will not ever know its grandad Ted!
Every night i will hold her on my knee and we will pray for my grandad Ted thats above that never got to meet his granddaughter!
My dad (your son) he is really happy that he is having another babyy and soo is my mum, but then when we mention that your not here it brakes his heart too.
I will tell my little sister all about you Grandad, how great you were and always will be and i will tell her the things you did with me that you would of shared with her aswell if you were on this earth but obviously God wanted you to fill the missing place in his garden after 86 years of living :)
My baby sister will miss you always and forever grandad and i will promise you now that she will know everthing she needs too know about her fantastic grandad Ted...
Keep looking over us grandad and guarding uss with the angels please we need your help at a time like this :)

Hope you are okaii in the clouds above. Iv got some shocking news for you.... My mum is having another baby she is pregnant! :D
But the sad news is that it will become a human on this earth without knowing his Grandad Ted. I will always remind this baby all about you and tell the baby everything about you.
It will miss you grandad but i will tell it that you are up above looking over him/her always and forever.
